Luna Flow is more than just a business – it’s a vision born from our own experiences and challenges. I’m a mother of four, living with my family in a century-old timber house that my husband Jim and I have renovated (and are still renovating) from the ground up in the countryside of Vörå, Finland.

Female sex hormones play a central role throughout the menstrual cycle, influencing both our physical and mental well-being.
In a natural cycle – without the influence of hormonal contraceptives – estrogen is the dominant hormone during the follicular phase (the first half of the cycle). Estrogen helps build energy and strength in preparation for ovulation.
After ovulation, the luteal phase begins, and progesterone becomes the dominant hormone. Progesterone helps us slow down, fosters a sense of calm and balance, and prepares the body for a potential pregnancy.
